Pad printing services in Mumbai
Get your logo, brand name, design or artwork pad printed on curved, textured and tiny parts, in fine detail.
What is pad printing, and when do you need it?
Pad printing, also known as tampo printing, uses a soft silicone pad to pick up your design from an etched plate and press it onto the product. The pad bends around shapes that a flat screen can’t reach.
That makes it the method for curved, concave, convex, textured or very small print areas: the arm of a pair of sunglasses, a switch panel, a ball or a USB drive.
It’s also the most precise of our three methods, good for small text and fine logos. Setup costs more than screen printing, because of the etched plate and costlier ink, so it suits larger runs best.
Flat print area? Screen printing is quicker and cheaper. Bottle or mug? Round printing prints all the way around.

Neelam SampatPad printing questions
What is pad printing?
A printing method that uses a soft silicone pad to transfer a design from an etched plate onto a product. The pad flexes, so it can print on curved, concave, convex, textured and very small surfaces.
Is pad printing the same as tampo printing?
Yes. Tampo printing, or tampography, is another name for pad printing.
What can be pad printed?
Electronics, switches and panels, USB drives, pens, lighters, sunglasses, balls, trophies, and plastic and metal components. If the print area is curved, uneven or tiny, pad printing is usually the answer.
How much does pad printing cost?
Setup costs more than screen printing: the design has to be etched into a metal plate, and pad printing ink is expensive. For very small quantities we may suggest another method. For larger runs, the cost per piece comes down.
Do you take pad printing job work?
Yes. You supply the parts and we print them to match the sample you approved.
Can you pad print at our premises?
Yes, in Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Bhiwandi and Vasai-Virar, and anywhere in India for large batches. We need enough space to set up and work.
Should I choose pad printing or screen printing?
Pad printing for curved surfaces and fine detail; screen printing for flat areas, bold colour and lower cost in bulk. Our guide, pad printing vs screen printing, compares them on surface, colour, detail, speed and cost.
